Today I will be telling you about what I'm doing in regards to writing. This story really opened the floodgates and I have all these ideas now for different stories. In addition to "Chronicles of Trey", I'm doing some planning for the spin-off short story. I have the first chapter almost done, but I can't post it now as it's based off of things that haven't happened yet in the main story and has characters that haven't been introduced yet. I hope to post it by chapter 24 maybe.
One other story I'm working on is a completely new story that I still have to visualize all the components for. I have 3 of the main characters all set up and have written an excerpt for the story. It'll probably take a while before I have this story ready to maybe preview.
Then I have another new story that I want to write. Well it's not new in my head as the idea and the characters in it were realized in my head long before the characters in COT were "born". Well long as in early last year. I want to write this story, but am unsure about it at the same time for one simple reason. It is centered around music. The premise begins with a shy teen who loves music and writing songs who is recruited by some of his school mates to join their band and the story takes off from there. The problem is that I'm unsure how to proceed with a musical book as I suck a writing lyrics and I'm sure that at some point there will have to be some original lyrics perhaps in there. I hope to have this ironed by the time I get ready to start writing it.
In closing I like to thank all my readers for giving my story a chance and actually liking it, lol. I'd like to thank my editor JD for helping me with the story. I'm closing in on the end..... of the first part of book 1. I had you worried didn't I. Due to the amount of content of the story I thought it would be a good idea to separate the book into 2 parts. It doesn't really affect anything unless I decide to publish the book though I'm not sure I will do it at the moment.

COT Chapter 14
THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS SO SKIP IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE STORY YET OR MADE IT TO CHAPTER 14...
Now that chapter 14 is up I thought I'd give some insight into what I was thinking. I wanted to show how the separation of Trey and Bear affected not only them but their friends that really wanted to see tem together. The situation was hard for these guys. They have been so much a part of each other’s lives for so long and now there is a new dimension to their relationship that has deepened the love they share so they of felt the weight of the separation.
Jessica and Sean also felt this as they truly want them to be together so they try everything to make sure of that which brings us to the war of wills between Jessica and Lawrence.
People who know Jessica know think of her as maybe an airhead, or perhaps shallow but I wanted to show that Jessica is extremely clever. She came up with great ideas and plans that would help the to guys have some kind of contact, to the point that she didn’t even know how she was doing it. Sadly though Bear’s dad was even more clever than her.
There wasn’t a lot of Trey himself in this chapter but don’t worry because he will be back next chapter. In face I think that will be the only chapter like that for a long while where Trey doesn’t have a POV in it.
Some people may be wondering why Bear doesn’t just tell his dad off and leave. Well even though his dad hasn’t said it out loud, he’s intimated that Bear should think of Trey’s well being before he tries to rebel against him. Lawrence is a man with means and Bear knows this and doesn’t want anything to happen to Trey because he was stupid and angered his father.
Also no other adults are getting involved because they don’t know. As with most teenagers, these kids haven’t done the logical thing and told another adult just how bad things are for Bear, thinking they can solve this problem themselves. All Trey’s parents know is that Bear’s parents aren’t allowing them to see one another. They don’t know the extent that Lawrence is going to ensure this.
I will say that after a reread that I found this chapter kind of sad myself. I didn’t know that extent when I was writing it so if some were turned off by it I apologize. I will say that I think it was needed to see how bad things were for them emotionally. Things will get better though very soon so be on the lookout.
